“I love White Center” and the case of the moving flower pot!
White Center gets a bit of a bad rap. Hey, even its immediate neighbor, West Seattle, gets a bad rap from North Seattleites who think it’s in a different time zone. So when I was driving in White Center yesterday to hang my for sale sign on a new listing it was good to see a local resident walking around wearing a t-shirt proudly proclaiming “I love White Center”. To which I say, good on ya!

New York eat your heart out!
So yesterday I listed this great home in the Highland Park neighborhood that’s packed with upgrades including new low-emission vinyl windows, new hot tub, drainage system, complete exterior new paint job in July, upgraded electrical panel, new carpet and plus 30 years left on the roof all located on a quiet dead end street.
Home also includes a big kitchen, 4 bedroom and 1.75 bathrooms, 2160 square feet, a large family room on the lower level with sliding doors to the relaxing hot tub and big deck with lots of privacy. The living room has a cozy brick fire place to warn your feet on a winter’s day (or possibly all the way into a Seattle June) plus an efficient wood stove in the family room. Richard, the house-proud and jovial owner, put a lot of sweat and money into getting his home ready for market and it shows.
Home is located at 9437 10th Ave SW Seattle 98106 and the MLS # is 396208

That’s all great, but what about the moving flower pot?
Well, take a look at theses pictures of the home and see how many times you can spot the same flower pot in different locations (click on photos for a bigger view):
