Buyers wish list (and reality check)

Sit down, relax and close your eyes. What does your new home look like?

Your must-haves are those items that the home must include and the nice-to-haves are items that, ideally, will be part of the property / neighborhood but will not dictate your home search. You are free to dream but your wallet will only let you buy so much.

After completing the list, you should be able to come up with a "mission statement" such as: "I want to buy a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom, two story single family home in either Greenwood or Wallingford. Home will have a detached garage, a low maintenanve yard in a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely must have a wood burning fireplace. Stores and entertainment to be within walking distance. A hot tub and deck would be nice but not essential"
